On the Frenzied Forex Front

March  Yen 
Support should appear near  7689 to 7675. Below that buyers should appear near  7601 to 7687 and the 7513 to 7487 region ..BW Traders can buy at 7515 for a turn higher and risk a close under 7412 for three days in a row..Under that support should appear near 7342 to 7325..
Resistance should appear near 7763 to 7777 and  7836 to 7864 .

March EC 
Recommended position long at 8818(elected This AM)
Support is at  8683 to 8668
Resistance is at 8762 to 8773 region

March Swiss Franc 
Resistance should appear near 6023 to 6035   
Support should appear near 5957 to 5945.. Under that support should  appear near 5880 to 5855..BW Traders can buy at 5882 and risk a close under 5849 for three days in a row. 

March  British Pound
Support should appear near the  1.4210 to 1.4150 region and should contain a decline .. a close under 1.4150 is negative and augurs for a test of 1.3990 and eventually the 1.3830 to 1.3770 region.. 

Resistance is at 1.4336 and the 1.4442. 

March Canadian Dollar
Recommended open position long at 6357
Support should appear at  6190 to 6165
Resistance is at 6257 to 6270

March Aussie Dollar 
Support
should appear near the 4995 to 4973
Resistance
should appear near 5067

Dow Jones Industrial Average
Resistance should appear near 10,037 and the 10,104 to 10,136 region..  
Support should appear near 9979 and the 9937 to 9921 region  

March SP500
Resistance is at 1150 and the 1164 to 1169 region .BW . Traders can sell at 1163.90 for a turn lower, risk a close over 1169 for three days in a row.. Beyond that a test of 1180.50 and the 1192 to 1203 region is likely. 

Support
should appear near 1143 and the 1136 to 1133 region. . 

BW Traders should go short if a close under 1115.00 occurs




Nasdaq Composite

Resistance
is at 1946 to 1953 and  1982 to 1996  
Support is at 1909 to 1902 under that support is at 1865 to 1858

March Mini- Nasdaq 100
Resistance
is at the 1609 to 1615 and the 1642 to 1655 region. . 
Support is at 1576 to 1569 then 1535 to 1529 and the 1496 to 1484 region.

CHRISTMAS
CBOT : Chicago Board of Trade agricultural and NY metals electronic a/c/e trading will be closed Dec. 23. Agricultural open outcry and a/c/e trading will be closed Dec. 24.  Financial open outcry trading will close at 1200 CT Dec. 24, with stock index  contracts at 1215 CT. A/c/e trading on Dec. 24 will close at 1215 CT for stock indices and 1230 CT for financials and metals. Overnight a/c/e will be closed. On Dec. 26, there will be no morning a/c/e agricultural trading. Financial  a/c/e trading will be from 0600 to 1600 CT. Stock indices on a/c/e will trade  from 0615 to 1600 CT, with NY metals from 0615 to 1345 CT. The Dow/AIG index, kilo gold and silver have normal schedules on Dec 26. 

CME: Chicago Mercantile Exchange commodity, foreign exchange and interest rate futures and options will close at 1200 CT on Dec 24. Agricultural options  will close at 1202 CT, while equity products will close at 1215 CT. 
All commodity, foreign exchange and interest rate products traded on Globex will close at 1200 CT on Dec. 24, while equity products will close at 1215 CT. Globex electronic trade will resume at 0530 CT on Dec. 26.

KCBT: Kansas City Board of Trade wheat futures and options will be closed Dec. 24, with stock index contracts closing at 1215 CT. 

MGE: The Minneapolis Grain Exchange will be closed Dec. 24.

MIDAM: The CBT's MidAmerica Commodity Exchange grain and soy complex  contracts will be closed Dec. 24, with livestock and currency contracts closing at 1215 CT.

NYBOT: The New York Board of Trade listed these closings for its subsidiaries: 

CSCE: The Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec 26.

FINEX: The Financial Instrument Exchange will close at 1300 ET Dec 24.

NYCE: The New York Cotton Exchange's cotton and orange juice contracts  will be closed Dec. 24. 

NYFE: The New York Futures Exchange will close at 1315 ET Dec. 24.
